Segmentation: Patient Need Groups (PNGs)

In line with national NHS practice, we will soon be introducing Patient Need Groups (PNGs).

You don’t need to do anything, but you might see a test result in your NHS app mentioning “Patient Need Groups” or “Risk Stratification.” This simply gives us a clearer picture of your individual health needs, so we can better understand how to support you. Your information is updated each month, so if your health needs or conditions improve, your PNG can change too. This helps us provide more personalised care, making sure you get the right help at the right time.
